This is a Haviland and Company serving dish in an unknown pink floral pattern. The dish has two backstamps which are dated 1876 and 1879. The dish has a fluted shaped rim with a gold patterned tgfrim and pink flowers and some greenery. There are open pieces on the bowl edge that are shaped differently from piece to piece. One is a larger curled sweep on the bowl and around the outer edge. The others are smaller and sometimes only on the outer edge. The porcelain shaping is sharp and lovely and the gold trim is still partially there.
The bowl measures 10.50 inches long by 8.50 inches wide. It is 2.00 inches tall and slightly less deep.
This can be a fruit bowl, a serving bowl or just a decorative catchall.
There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. Both Haviland marks are shown.
